XBOWLING® Challenge Rules

Sports Challenge Network, LLC (“SCN”) provides bowlers with the opportunity to compete in Challenges through its XBowling application. Challenges available include Head-to-Head Live Challenges and Head-to-Head Posted Challenges. To learn how to enter Challenges, visit our Head-to-Head Challenge Instructions.

Gameplay Restrictions

  • No-tap scoring may not be used with any Challenges.
  • Challenges may not be entered after 3rd Frame.
  • Except when otherwise stated within the challenge, in Challenges where a player’s final score determines the result, the actual raw score of the game (scratch) is used, not the handicap score.

Gameplay

In Head-to-Head Live Challenges, players choose to play live against other players at one or more different bowling centers. A Game Creator will start the game and select its parameters: (1) Name of Game (2) Credit Amount played, (3) Number of Players in the Game (from 1-8), and (4) Scoring Mode – whether game results will be based on raw or handicapped scores.

If you are not the Game Creator and would like to join available Live Games, you can select Join Game and then search the available Live Games. Choose a game you would like to join, and if Creator grants you access, you will be allowed to play.

Gameplay

In Head-to-Head Posted Challenges, a player can choose to play against games previously played by XBowlers and posted in the App. Each posted game remains active and available for being challenged for 7 days. The highest handicap score wins and points won are based on the number of credits used to play the game.

Posting a Game

Any XBowler may post a completed game for free. That game is available for being challenged for a period of 7 days. An unlimited number of opponents can challenge your posted game. You earn points regardless of outcome – 250 points if you win the challenge and 100 points if you lose the challenge.

XBOWLING® Redemption Rules

Sports Challenge Network, LLC (“SCN”) currently offers users of its XBowling App the ability to compete in Challenges, win points, and redeem these points for prizes in our SCN Rewards Store through the App or www.xbowling.com web site.

Access to the SCN Rewards Store is currenly restricted in certain States in the US and all markets outside of the US.

For regulatory reasons, SCN does not allow for the conversion of Game Points into SCN Reward Points for those Game Points earned in bowling centers located in the following states (“Restricted States”): Alaska, Hawaii, Vermont, Montana, South Carolina, New Jersey, Tennessee, Washington, South Dakota, and New Hampshire. In addition, in Arizona, no single prize requiring over 110,000 SCN Reward Points may be redeemed in the SCN Rewards Store.

In addition to the restrictions listed above, SCN is also restricting the ability of users from certain states to participate in certain Challenges offered by XBowling. In Arizona, players are not allowed to enter Challenge Levels 4-6 in Head-to-Head Live Challenges, and Challenge Levels 5-6 in Head-to-Head Posted Challenges. In Louisiana, SCN is restricting the ability of users to enter into any Challenges requiring more than 20 Credits to enter.
